Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Vasyl  Marmazov took part in the international Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity held in the ROK on 29 through 31 May 2013, whereupon he delivered a report “OSCE’s role and recent contributions in Northeast Asia” at a session titled “Northeast Asia and the Helsinki Process: Can it be replicated?”.

The event was hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province in cooperation with the MOFA of  ROK, the International Peace Foundation, East Asia Foundation and Jongang Daily.

Over 3,500 politicians,  scholars and diplomats from 52 countries attended the Forum.
