Each year on the fourth Saturday of November Ukraine commemorates the victims of the mass artificial famines (Holodomor) of 1921-1923, 1932-1933 and 1946-1947, as a result of which the Ukrainian people lost millions of lives.
The Holodomor of 1932–1933 was recognized as genocide in Ukraine as well as Canada, Australia, Portugal, USA, UK, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and other countries.
On November 27, the Holodomor Remembrance Day, at 16:00 light up a candle together with Ukraine in memory of millions of Ukrainians starved to death.
