1. The government of the Republic of Korea expresses deep condolences to the numerous civilian victims of the recent shelling of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol and their bereaved families. 

2. The ROK government is concerned about the deteriorating situation in eastern Ukraine and hopes that the crisis in Ukraine will be resolved in a peaceful manner through all concerned parties’ faithful implementation of the Minsk agreements and constructive dialogue. 

3. The ROK government will actively contribute to international efforts towards a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
