On Februry 6, 2017 delegation of Kyiv City State Administration headed by the First Deputy Mayor Mr. Gennadiy Plis paid working visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The delegation met with the First Vice-Mayor of Seoul Mr. Gyoung-gee Liu, Ambassador for International Relations of Seoul Metropolitan Government Mr. Kim Chang-beom, leaders of Incheon Free Economic Zone, Seoul municipal construction company “S.H. Corporation”, “Hyundai Engineering & Construction” corporation, Korean Institute of Civil Engineering and Construction Technology. Presentations of internal audit, construction & construction control systems as well as visits to TOPIS center of intelligent transportation system and Gangnam resource recovery plant were organized by Seoul Metropolitan Government.

After getting acquainted with advanced Korean experience visiting delegation offered co-work on new systems of ‘clean’ construction and traffic control in Kyiv, as well as garbage utilization, modernization of Kyiv Heating & Power Plant 6 and development of industrial park “Kyiv business-haven”. Signing of memorandum on establishing friendly relations between Kyiv and Seoul was initiated.
