Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea held the reception on the occasion of the European Football Championship, which takes place in Ukraine and Poland this year.

This event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Poland in the Republic of Korea, governmental bodies, business, academic and art circles of the Republic of Korea as well as local media.

In his welcoming words Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Vasyl Marmazov stressed that the European Championship in 2012 in Poland and Ukraine is a milestone event not only in terms of sport but also in terms of development of the two countries. Euro 2012 is a good opportunity to show Ukraine to the world, its rich tourist opportunities, outstanding cultural and historical heritage, said the Head of Ukrainian diplomatic mission.

Within the framework of the reception the students of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of Korea Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and director of the Yeain music art high school from Iksan city, renowned pianist Lee Bong-Ki made their performances.
