On June 4, 2018, H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine Olexander Horin visited the head office of the international organization «Green Climate Fund» (GCF) in Incheon (the Republic of Korea).

During the visit the ways of cooperation in the field of energy saving technologies, alternative types of energy and introduction of new technologies in the field of energy efficiency were discussed.

At the meeting, the Korean side was provided with materials prepared by the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine: «Financial instruments for energy efficiency & renewable energy projects development», «Introduction of Green bonds market in Ukraine as a mechanism for investment attraction into renewable energy and energy efficiency projects».

There was also discussed the possibility of cooperation with the «Green Climate Fund» for the introduction in Ukraine the financial instruments named «green bonds» and «green investment fund».

Also, an official letter from the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine with proposals for the «Green Climate Fund» was handed.
