On July 3, 2018 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine O.Horin visited one of the leading and most advanced scientific centers in the Republic of Korea – the Daegu Gyongbuk Institute of Science and Technology in the city of Daegu (DGIST).

During the visit he was acquainted with the scientific base, leading developments and achievements of DGIST.

The possible ways of cooperation between Ukrainian academic institutions and DGIST were discussed with the leadership of the institute.

The Korean side has been provided with proposals from leading Ukrainian research centers on the implementation of specific joint projects in the field of nano, bio and cognitive technologies.

The possibility of teaching Ukrainian students at the DGIST was discussed.
