On June 28, 2019 Olexandr Horin, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea, met with Baek Sookhee, Vice-President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Both sides praised a number of successful projects implemented in Ukraine with the assistance of KOICA, including establishment of Ukrainian – Korean Center for IT Education in the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute».
They also mentioned regular humanitarian assistance provided to Ukraine by the Government of the Republic of Korea during recent years.
While drawing attention to the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, Ambassador Horin asked KOICA to support projects aimed at social reintegration, medical treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian citizens, afflicted by the consequences of military actions.
