On August 7, 2020, Н.Е. Olexander Horin, Ambassador of Ukraine, participated in the ceremony of signing the Memorandum on cooperation and interaction in creation of medical cluster based on the science park «Lviv Polytechnic».
This project aims strengthening joint capabilities in the development of Ukrainian and global healthcare system, including tackling COVID-19 and consequences of pandemic, as well as to preventing the spread of similar viral disease in future.
Within the framework of joint activities the sides will be able to conduct research, freely supply personal protective equipment, establish production of the equipment in Ukraine, implement technological platform for better cooperation, support introduction of innovative technology and solutions in healthcare including digital health.
Memorandum was signed during online conference among representatives from Ukraine, the Republic of Korea, the USA, the State of Israel, the Republic of Ireland and the Republic of Poland.
