On December 1, 2020, the Representative of the Embassy made a presentation of the scientific and technical potential of Ukraine at a meeting of the Council for Innovative Cooperation of the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) of the Ministry of Startups of the Republic of Korea.

Ukraine's potential in the field of innovation, in particular in the aerospace industry and IT, was brought to the Korean side.

On the example of the work of the Ukrainian Foundation of Startups, possible ways of cooperation were discussed with the Korean side.

The Ukrainian Fund of Startups was established at the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to promote the creation of technological startups in the early stages in order to increase their global competitiveness.

According to the results of previous work, Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) of the Ministry of Startups of the Republic of Korea held a series of video conferences with the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of Ukraine and the Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
