Ukraine Culture Week in Pyeongtaek

On September 16, the Ukraine Culture Week began in Pyeongtaek. The event gave an opportunity for the city residents and guests to learn more about culture and traditions of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian community in the Republic of Korea, the String quartet “Liberte”, Pyeongtaek Boys and Girls Choir and the "Kalyna Dance Society” from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies performed at the opening ceremony.

The visitors could buy souvenirs and take part in workshops of making paper angels and bracelets in national colours at experience booths in the Baedari Library Grass Plaza.

First time in Korea we presented the International travelling exhibitions marathon “Peace formula in the children’s art in Ukraine", and put on display the children’s artworks from the collection of CF “Lviv Children’s Gallery” (https://artclass.lviv.ua/en/).

We also opened the “Ukrainian bookshelf”, photoexhibition about Ukraine and an exhibition of artworks by Ukrainian children - the participants of International art festival МАЛЮЙ.UA.WAR at Baedari Library.
