On October 5, 2022, the opening ceremony of the European Union Film Festival was held in Seoul. Within the festival 19 films made in Europe will be presented.
The festival began with the screening of the film "Mariupolis", by the Lithuanian director Mantas Kvedaravicius, who was killed by the russian occupiers in the Ukrainian Mariupol this spring.
The festival will be held until October 23. Its program also includes the Ukrainian film "My thoughts are silent".
