February 12, 2013 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Vasyl Marmazov held the meeting with four active Ukrainian students studying at the educational institutions of Korea: Inna Chechelnytska (Korea University), Elina Batuhtina (Academy of Korean Studies), Iryna Dzhebian (KDI School) and Andrii Komar (KAIST). Ambassador presented them with the scholarship that they, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine, were awarded by the International Medical Welfare Association.

Another important aspect of the meeting was the exchanging of views on the widening of cooperation between Ukraine and Korea in the sphere of education.

During the meeting, at the Ambassador’s request, the students told about their achievements in educational process and plans for the future. There was also common discussion concerning the ways of further cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine through their participation in cultural and other appropriate events that will be held by the Ukrainian diplomatic establishment.
