On July, 2013 senior researcher and head of international support for Korean studies division of the Academy of Korean Studies Chang Won-suk visited Ukraine and met in Kyiv with students of the Korean language and literature department at the Taras Schevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In his article in “The Korea Times” he represents his view of the Republic of Korea’s place in the modern world and, in this context, shares his impressions of the abovementioned meeting.

The Korean scientist was especially impressed by the fact that many bright, excellently educated representatives of Ukrainian youth know the Korean language very well, like and are interested in Korean culture and have the wish to come to South Korea for Korean experience studying.
