Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea met with representatives of the charitable organization «Friends of Love».

On November 13, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Volodymyr Belashov met with representatives of the charitable organization «Friends of Love».

The organization was founded in 1998 by Lee Hee-ho, the wife of then President of the Republic of Korea Kim Dae-jung to help orphans and children from poor families. Later «Friends of Love» launched a number of other successful projects. Among them – aid project for children in North Korea, self-cultivation training program for adolescents, English-learning program for children from poor families etc.

During the meeting Volodymyr Belashov briefed representatives of the «Friends of Love» on history and culture of Ukraine, its tourist opportunities, activities of Ukraine charitable organizations in our country. Guests tasted various dishes of Ukrainian national cuisine. Korean participants of the meeting were also shown samples of Ukrainian national costumes.
