In the course of the official visit to the Republic of Korea Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with his Korean colleague, Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.

During their meeting the Sides focused on intensification of political dialogue between the two countries as well as issues of economic, scientific and technical cooperation.

The sides also discussed the liberalization of visa regime between the two countries.

Pavlo Klimkin expressed the interest of Ukraine in expansion of Korean investment in Ukrainian economy, particularly in infrastructure projects and agriculture sector.

While discussing the cooperation in IT area the Sides highly assessed the activities of Korean companies in Ukraine.

The ministers also exchanged views on the current situation in Ukraine and Korean Peninsula as well as on other topical issues of global agenda.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister expressed the gratitude to the Korean Side for its consistent support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country and invited his counterpart to visit Ukraine.
