On October 5, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Volodymyr Belashov met representatives of the nongovernmental organization Global Peace Youth Corps.

The parties discussed the issue of providing international peace and security. GPYC representatives outlined the major activities of the organization in this sphere.

Volodymyr Belashov informed about Ukraine’s efforts aimed at maintaining peace, security and stability both in Europe and in the world.

Ambassador of Ukraine drew attention of the GPYC representatives to Ukraine’s initiative to draft a Comprehensive Convention on the Suppression of Acts of Piracy at Sea.
