The 2nd Asian Forum of Legislative Information Affairs has started in the South Korean city of Goyang. Ukrainian delegation headed by the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Oleksandr Lavrynovych takes part in the Forum.

Around 1000 delegates from 31 countries worldwide participate in the event, organized by the Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea. Among them – Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Justice of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, China, Japan and other countries.

Minister of Justice of Ukraine addressed the Forum with a speech on the legal system of Ukraine.

In the framework of the Forum the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Oleksandr Lavrynovych met with the Minister of the Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea Jeong Sun-Tae. The Parties discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries in legal sphere.

After the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation Between the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea was signed.
