As a part of celebration of the 16th Anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Vasyl Marmazov met with Ukrainian students studying in Korea.

The importance of the Constitution of Ukraine of June 28, 1996 as a fundamental tool in establishing the basic institutional guidelines and principles, strengthening a political and legal mechanism for the existence of the Ukrainian state was emphasized within the framework of the meeting.

In this context, attention of the students was focused on the process of modernization of the Basic Law of Ukraine, which was launched with the opening of the Constitutional Assembly chaired by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych on June 20, 2012.

The exchange of views on possible ways of deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea in the field of education was an important component of the meeting.

Ambassador of Ukraine inquired about an academic activity and living conditions in South Korea as well as the possible problem issues.

It was agreed to hold such meetings on a regular basis and to involve Ukrainian students into cultural and other events held by the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in the Republic of Korea.
