Feasibility of increasing export of Ukrainian agrarian products to Korea were discussed on 24^th April 2018 during the meetings of Mr. V.Lapa, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, and Mr. O.Romanovskyy, Director of the General Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, with the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of the Republic of Korea.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of the Republic of Korea manifested its readiness to participate in the renewal of agricultural machinery in Ukraine, expressed its readiness to carry out a joint feasibility study on the issue of exporting Ukrainian products to Korea and to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between corresponding ministries.

Concerning request to accelerate the certification process of Ukrainian dairy and poultry products, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of the Republic of Korea informed about scheduled for 2019 visit to Ukraine by relevant Korean experts.
