On April 24, 2018 the 4^th meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian – Korean Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Seoul under chairmanship of Maksym Nefyodov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, and Yan Kang-hyeon, Deputy Minister for Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

 Among the members of Ukrainian delegation were Viktor  Dovgan, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Nataliya Boyko, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, Volodymyr Lapa, Head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Sergiy Savchuk, Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, NNEGC “Energoatom” and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting speakers from both size in constructive and open manner scrutinized current state of economic development of Ukraine and the Republic of Korea, as well as ways to boost bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, industrial production, energy, transport and infrastructure agriculture, SME support, IT, healthcare and tourism. The Minutes of the Meeting was signed to build on the reached agreements.
