On April 24, 2018, in Soule with assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Viktor Dovgan met with Vice Minister of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea Son Byong Seok.

During the meeting the large number of issues concerning bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea were discussed. The Ukrainian side emphasized the importance of organizing the Direct Flights between Kyiv and Seoul. To date, conditions for aviation passenger transportation are liberalized as much as possible. There are no restrictions on the geography of flights and frequency of flights.

Also the Recognition of seafarers’ diplomas/certificates and the contribution of the Republic of Korea to the development and modernization of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine were discussed.
