On April 24, 2018 visiting First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Strategy of Finance of the Republic of Korea Kim Dong Yeon.

Issues of promoting bilateral high-level political dialogue, financing joint projects and providing visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens travelling to the Republic of Korea were discussed.

Counterparts inked Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Ministry of Strategy of Finance of the Republic of Korea on Knowledge sharing program.

During the visit to the Republic of Korea the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine also met with the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation Song Young-gil, the Chairman & CEO of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) KIM Young Ju, the Chairman of the Korean Importers Association (KOIMA) Shin Myoung-jin, leaders of the flagship Korean corporations.
