On December 13, 2018, the Ukrainian delegation headed by H.E. Mr.Andriy Parubiy, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine, met Mr. Lee Nak-Yeon, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea

The Ukrainian side informed the Korean side of the ongoing Russian aggression against our country, as well as the last development of the situation in Ukraine.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed topical issues of Ukrainian-Korean cooperation, including possible steps towards liberalization of the visa regime for tourist trips of Ukrainian citizens to the Republic of Korea, intensification of cooperation in the field of economy and investment, as well as further political dialogue at the highest level, including the exchange of visits.

The Korean side in particular positively noted the outcomes of Fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Korean Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Ukrainian-Korean Economic Forum held in Seoul in April 2018.
