On December 10^th, 2019, the Ukrainian delegation headed by MP Mr.Serhii Larin and MP Mr. Dmytro Pryputen, the Co-Chairpersons of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Parliamentary Group “Ukraine-Korea”, met Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Mr. Lee Ju-Young and members of the “Korea-Ukraine” Friendship Group headed by MP Cho Jeong-Sik.

During the meetings both sides discussed Ukrainian-Korean cooperation, including development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, organization of highest level visits, deepening of cooperation in the field of economy and investments, as well as further steps towards the introduction of a visa-free regime for entry to the Republic of Korea for Ukrainian citizens.

Parties agreed to take concrete steps to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to provide support by Parliaments, especially by Parliamentary Friendship Groups.
