Delegation of the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization headed by the Chairman of Commission Mr. Petro Yatsuk visited Seoul on October 18-19, 2012 and participated in the Global e-Government Forum "Smart e-Government for a Better Future". The event was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security of Korea, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korea and the United Nations Department of Economy and Social Affairs. In general, the Forum was attended by delegations from 25 countries.

Within the framework of the Forum participants discussed the current achievements in the field of innovations for the systems and services of e-governance and documents circulation, exchanged views concerning the ways of problem issues solving related with peculiarities of legal regulation, as well as became familiar with technology solutions developed by the Korean and foreign companies.

E-governance is a form of state governance that promotes efficiency, openness and transparency of state agencies by IT- technologies usage.
