From May 1 to June 3, 2024, the Chunchugwan at Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House, formerly served as the Presidential Residence) is hosting an exhibition “Children Drawing Hope: the exhibition of Ukrainian children’s art”, displaying the artworks by Ukrainian children who have been living through war reflecting their tragic experience as well as hopes for the future.
The exhibition brings together over 250 artworks from four children’s art projects in Ukraine – “Art Armor Kids”, “Mom, I see war”, “For God I create the best”, “Future for Ukraine”.
The idea of the exhibition was born at the meeting of First Lady of Ukraine Mrs. Olena Zelenska and First Lady of the Repulic of Korea Mrs. Kim Keon Hee in July 2023, when the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol visited Kyiv.
It is a joint project realized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, Cheong Wa Dae Foundation and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
The display is open for viewers 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. every day, except Tuesdays. Entrance is free of charge, without registration through Chunchu Gate (Chunchumun).
