On August 7, 2025, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea hosted Ukraine’s youth robotics team, participating in the International Programming Robot Challenge (IPRC) held in Suwon.

During the meeting, Ambassador Dmytro Ponomarenko welcomed members of the team from Lviv and Cherkasy. The young developers got informed of the diplomatic mission's activities and shared their impressions of the Republic of Korea.

Halyna Chyburovska, team leader and STEM education ambassador in Ukraine, informed that the team consisted of the 2025 Ukrainian National Robotics Olympiad winners, noting that their participation in the competition allows Ukrainians to learn more about modern Korea, an integral part of which is the latest technologies and engineering.

Yurii Ulianytskyi, coach and judge at international robotics competitions in Ukraine, expressed words of appreciation to the Korean company “Roborobo” for inviting the Ukrainian team to IPRC, its comprehensive support, and financial assistance.

The high level of motivation and personal achievements demonstrated by the Ukrainian team members are impressive, especially given the difficult war conditions in which Ukrainian youth grow up. Such pupils are the pride of Ukraine and an example of perseverance and strength of spirit.

The Ambassador thanked the team for their contribution to the development of relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea and empathized the Embassy's readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in further popularizing Ukrainian achievements in the field of robotics.
