On June 22, 2010 Volodymyr Belashov, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea, met the Prof. Song Yong Ho, President of Chungnam National University. While meeting President of one of the leading Korean universities transmitted to the Head of the Ukrainian mission in the Republic of Korea original texts of the bilateral documents about inter-university cooperation: Agreement of academic cooperation between Chungnam National University and National Technical University of Ukraine and Agreement of a student exchange program between Chungnam National University and National Technical University of Ukraine, signed by the Korean Side on June 16, 2010.

Volodymyr Belashov expressed hope that the established partnership between the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic University” and Chungnam National University will develop fruitfully in future. The President of the Chungnam National University notices the importance of the establishment of cooperation with one of the leading Ukrainian universities and informed about interest of the Korean side to establish partnership relations with some other Ukrainian universities as well.
