On November 30, 2011 the Seoul Arts Center hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition “The Gold Treasures of Ukraine”. By the Embassy invitation the representatives of other Diplomatic missions, Director of the Ukrainian Cultural Center Shim Sil, Director of the Association of International Cultural Exchanges Kim Young Geun, Vice President of the singular University in the North-East Asia where the Ukrainian language is taught – Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Kim Kyuchin, Dean of the College of Central and European Studies of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Lee Mun Suh, Head of the Ukrainian Studies Department of the same university Hong Sogu, representatives of the state and public institutions, artistic, academic and business circles, Ukrainian citizens.

The Director General of the National Museum of History of Ukraine Serhii Chaikovskyi welcomed the participants of the event and emphasized the importance of the ancient art exhibition for citizens of other countries to get some knowledge about other countries and thanked the organizers for the opportunity to represent the Gold Treasures of Ukraine in Korea.
