On May 24–25, Ukraine was represented at the Seoul Friendship Festival, the largest international cultural event in the capital of South Korea, which annually gathers participants and guests from all over the world.
The Ukrainian booth became a true hub of creativity. Diamond embroidery featuring authentic Ukrainian patterns sparked great interest among visitors.
Young guests enthusiastically colored in the image of Mavka, a heroine from Ukrainian folklore, depicted on a traditional Korean kite.
Handmade crafts by Ukrainian artists also attracted much attention, including hair accessories, protective dolls "Motanka"s, knitted items, and other unique souvenirs.
Guests at the national booth took part in a quiz about Ukraine and received yellow-and-blue bracelets as a keepsake.
For those eager to learn more, we also prepared an informational brochure, an insightful guide to our rich cultural heritage.
